Why Angie and Sons?

We pride ourselves in providing high quality homemade baked goods! We believe in taking time to get to know each of our clients and making sure that we do everything we can to bring their Vision into reality on our Products!

A little more about us.

I’m Angie and I started making cakes in 2009 by accident. I guess you could say, a dear friend of mine “challenged” me with a request to create a cake for her husbands birthday and that was that. I soon recognized a passion for taking someone’s idea/dream for their special occasion, and making it a reality. It feels like I get to be a part of the gift, memories, and joy of the occasion. Seeing a child excited about their birthday cake is an amazing feeling and that brings me joy.

I think most people who know me would say, I’m an “artsy” person, and creating cakes has become my artistic expression. I enjoy the challenge of new techniques and watching it bring life into a project. I love the science behind baking and one of my favorite things to do is research and compare and experiment with recipes.

My son, Skyler, really had no choice in his life but to love all things food. He grew up in a kitchen chair from a very early age. As he grew up, he and I would watch cooking shows then head to the grocery store and come home and cook. Sunday was “mom’s only cooking day”.

Fast forward several years…..

Skyler and Lucas come back to our hometown and decided that they wanted to help me bring my former part time hobby into a full fledged business. They are the bakers and creative team, helping to coming up with our new items and promotions. They help me keep my sanity and are even learning the art of decorating. Together we eat, sleep and breathe “all things baked”. We pride ourselves in providing high quality homemade baked goods!
